“ I want to teach in such a way that enables people to find tools that fit their own bodies and goals and to help students transform, heal and grow. Yoga and meditation have given me the tools to work towards embodying myself with love, compassion and acceptance and I am passionate about sharing those tools with others”
Carole is a graduate of Akhanda Yoga having completed the 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in London & Rishikesh. A holistic path of yoga Akhanda is a Hatha style practice built on a long lineage in the foothills of the Himalayas. This was followed by a further 100 hour training in Ayurvedic Lifestyle & Conscious Living. Classes are Hatha style incorporating breath, meditation and relaxation as well as postures.
Having also completed Mindful Meditation and Massage training, and with a background in Nursing as well as qualifications in Personal Training & Pilates, Carole is able to take a complete holistic view of the best approach to help you achieve your optimal health.
After dabbling in yoga for some time a trip to India in 2006 began a journey which evolves even now, I found the true power of yoga at its source in the country I now call my ‘spiritual home’. I continue to return to India to recharge and reconnect with the source of the power that is yoga and my teachers.
Yoga and meditation became non-negotiable daily parts of my life during an early onset menopause coupled with Thyroid disease. Through yoga and meditation Carole has found the tools needed to manage her symptoms and avoid the need for medication.
Classes are designed to balance hormones and provide an opportunity to relax and rejuvenate away from the pressures of day to day living in a supportive and nurturing community.
Yoga for me has been the answer to the bumpy Menopausal journey so many of us endure. Yoga, Meditation and Ayurveda have enriched and nourished my journey to a place where I now relish my ‘Juicy Crone’ years and the liberation that offers. I now feel the time is right to share what I have learned with all women seeking to find balance and stillness within whilst navigating the hormones of the feminine cycles of life.
Carole’s style of teaching is nurturing, supportive and all inclusive. My aim is to provide a judgement free space to explore yoga and your body encouraging you to find new levels of possibilities in your body and mind whilst providing the tools to bring the practice off the mat and into your daily lives.
