Yeli Williams, Medical Herbalist & Yoga Teacher. BSc Hons, MSc, MNIMH, YAP.
Yeli worked for nearly 15 years as a Clinical Scientist for the NHS. It was during this time, shortly after she completed her Masters’ Degree in Medical Immunology, that she took a five-month sabbatical from her work, to travel around Australia and New Zealand.
It was here in 2005 that she discovered an interest in traditional Herbal Medicine. She was so inspired by her experiences that, after her return to the UK she enrolled on a degree course in Herbal Medicine. After graduating with a first-class Honours Degree in Herbal Medicine from the University of East London she left the NHS to pursue her dream of a full-time career in holistic health.
Yeli works full time as a Medical Herbalist and Yoga teacher in Hastings, Wadhurst and Rye. She is an experienced member (2000+ hours teaching experience) of the Yoga Alliance Professions (YAP), a clinical trainer for Heartwood (supporting student herbalists to gain clinical experience in herbal medicine) and is a full member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists (MNIMH).
She practices Western herbal medicine and combines traditional herbal knowledge with a modern scientific approach to diagnosis and treatment. She merges sound scientific understanding with a holistic person-centred approach to healing and optimal health, to produce safe and effective results.
Yeli specialises in the following areas
• Pain management (muscle and joint pain, arthritis, migraine, etc).
• Hormonal imbalance (PMS, menopause, endometriosis, fibroids, fibromyalgia, BPH etc).
• Immune imbalances (allergy, recurrent or chronic infection, autoimmune conditions, etc).
