Mindful Yoga with Zowie Martin

Mindful yoga combines the focused attention of mindfulness with the physical aspect of hatha yoga and encourages us to truly notice how we are, where and how we hold tension and experience the body and mind as it is moment to moment. We feel how emotions are stored in the body and learn how they can be shifted and released through asana. We see the relationship between all layers and levels of our experience.
Practicing asana with mindful awareness ensures a holistic practice for both body and mind.
Mindful Yoga is suitable for all interested in working with a deep level of attention and inquiry.
Zowie Martin is a British Wheel of Yoga teacher with 17 years teaching experience a CMI mindfulness teacher, and a Thai Yoga massage practitioner.
